Junior Developer inom BI och produktutveckling

About the Role

Bee Analytics builds BI solutions for public transport and train companies, as well as its own product for train companies. Clients often have large amounts of data on travel, punctuality, vehicles, and economics that have not yet been actionable. Our product aims to solve recurring problems for multiple train companies simultaneously.

As a Junior Developer, you will work on both aspects. You will build dashboards, automations, and reports to help traffic managers or financial managers make better decisions, and you will contribute to shaping features in our own product, from idea to deployed code.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and further develop dashboards and reports for public transport and train companies.
• Develop new features in our own product for train companies, from idea to deployed code.
• Model and ensure the quality of data from customer systems.
• Participate in meetings and workshops with clients to understand the problems to be solved.
• Contribute to prioritizing what to build next with the team.
• Test, troubleshoot, and support solutions during live operation.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Master of Science degree (or soon to be completed).
• Experience working with data, such as SQL.
• Experience with programming, e.g., from studies, part-time jobs, or personal projects.
• Ability to explain complex relationships simply to both colleagues and clients.
• Fluent in Swedish and English.

Qualifications

• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
• Experience building something from start to finish, e.g., side projects, hackathons, or part-time jobs.
• Experience with agent coding tools like Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, or Cursor.
• A genuine interest in AI in development work is highly valued, even without practical experience with the tools.
• Interest in the train industry, public transport, or infrastructure.
