Relationship Manager

About the Role

The Relationship Manager intern will help nurture and grow KaroStartup’s founder and startup community. This internship is a hybrid role based in Bengaluru, with a mix of in-office presence and work-from-home flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Reaching out to founders and startups.
• Managing communications across WhatsApp, email, and social platforms.
• Coordinating story submissions and collaborations.
• Maintaining accurate contact records.
• Supporting onboarding of new founders to the platform.
• Assisting with basic partner relationship management.
• Gathering feedback.
• Identifying promising startup stories.
• Collaborating with the content and social media teams to ensure smooth execution of campaigns and features.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in English and Hindi (or another Indian language).
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple conversations and follow-ups in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort with using WhatsApp, email, and social media platforms for outreach, engagement, and basic community management.
• Basic understanding of startups, entrepreneurship, or digital media.
• Genuine interest in working with early-stage founders is highly preferred.
• Proactive, self-driven attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Ability to take ownership of tasks and work both independently and in a small, collaborative team.
• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in any discipline; backgrounds in business, communications, or marketing are a plus but not mandatory.
• Availability to work from Bengaluru on a hybrid basis and commit to the internship for the agreed duration.
