About the Role
The Packaging Producer will be responsible for conceptualizing, planning, and producing news packages, special segments, and feature stories for Bharat 24’s broadcast and digital platforms. This full-time, on-site role based in Noida involves coordinating with reporters, video editors, graphic designers, and newsroom teams to create compelling and visually engaging content.
Key Responsibilities
- Conceptualizing, planning, and producing news packages, special segments, and feature stories.
- Coordinating with reporters, video editors, graphic designers, and newsroom teams.
- Developing story ideas.
- Structuring packages.
- Guiding the edit process.
- Ensuring packages align with editorial guidelines and channel standards.
- Managing tight deadlines.
- Monitoring news developments and adjusting packages as needed.
- Performing quality checks on final output.
- Collaborating with senior producers and editorial leadership to enhance content presentation.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- News packaging and production abilities.
- Experience in structuring stories and overseeing the editing process for television or digital news.
- Knowledge of Hindi news media, current affairs, and storytelling techniques.
- Ability to present complex information in a clear and engaging format.
- Familiarity with broadcast production tools.
- Familiarity with non-linear editing workflows.
- Basic understanding of graphics and sound design for news packages.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Commitment to accuracy and editorial standards.
- Ability to work on-site in Noida.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced news environment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a diverse team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, mass communication, media studies, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in a news channel or media production house is an advantage.
