About the Role

The Law Student Intern – AI Advocate role is a remote, volunteer position focused on the intersection of law, AI, and emerging digital technologies. Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Solid foundation in law, with current enrollment in a law degree program or equivalent legal studies.
• Interest in technology, AI, and digital regulation.
• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret statutes, case law, and policy documents and apply them to practical technology scenarios.
• Clear and professional communication abilities, with confidence in explaining complex legal and ethical issues to non-legal stakeholders.
• Proficient writing skills for drafting memos, summaries, and guidance notes, with attention to structure, clarity, and accuracy.
• Research skills for conducting legal and policy research on topics such as data protection, AI governance, and cloud compliance using reliable sources.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and collaborate using digital tools.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to non-discriminatory, responsible technology practices.
