Coordinator of Volunteers

Role Description

The Coordinator of Volunteers is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune Division. This role is responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and scheduling volunteers to support organizational programs and events. The Coordinator will design and deliver volunteer training, provide ongoing guidance, and ensure volunteers have clear roles and resources. Day-to-day tasks include maintaining volunteer records, coordinating communication, organizing recognition activities, and supporting community outreach initiatives. The role collaborates with internal teams and external partners to align volunteer efforts with program goals and to strengthen community relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruiting, onboarding, and scheduling volunteers
• Designing and delivering volunteer training
• Providing ongoing guidance to volunteers
• Ensuring volunteers have clear roles and resources
• Maintaining volunteer records
• Coordinating communication with volunteers and stakeholders

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency with basic office software

• Relevant education in Social Work, Nonprofit Management, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent experience in volunteer coordination, is beneficial.
• Prior experience in a nonprofit, community services, or corporate social responsibility environment is an advantage.
