Merchandiser

About the Role

Right Sports Apparels manufactures and exports woven and knitted garments for international markets. This role is for a Merchandiser located in Jogeshwari West, Mumbai. The position is full-time and on-site.

The Merchandiser will coordinate garment export orders from development and sampling through production and shipment, ensuring buyers, suppliers, and internal teams are aligned on requirements, materials, and delivery timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with sampling, production, planning, stores, quality, and dispatch teams.
• Track fabrics, trims, accessories, approvals, and production progress against order timelines.
• Maintain accurate order status reports, purchase orders, and merchandising documentation.
• Follow up with suppliers and internal teams to resolve material shortages and production delays.
• Communicate clearly with international buyers, ensuring specifications and approved samples reach relevant teams.
• Escalate risks promptly and follow through to support on-time shipments.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Excel and office computer applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline; Textiles, Fashion, Commerce, or Business preferred.
• Knowledge of garment merchandising and export order coordination; relevant experience is an advantage.
• Good English communication, organisation, and follow-up skills.
• Attention to detail, initiative, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
