About the Role

We are looking for candidates with a strong academic background in Economics, Statistics, Data Science, Journalism, Library and Information Science, or quantitative social sciences. The role involves researching graphs, charts, and other visual data, verifying information, and writing accurate descriptions to support AI training.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and collect relevant graphs, charts, and visual data from publicly available sources.
• Review graphs and charts for accuracy, clarity, and relevance.
• Verify data, captions, labels, and related information.
• Write clear and accurate descriptions explaining the information presented.
• Review AI-generated descriptions, identify errors or generic content, and rewrite them wherever required.
• Ensure descriptions are grammatically correct, complete, and factually accurate.
• Identify suitable data sources and flag any licensing or access-related issues.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Economics, Statistics, or Data Science.
• Alternatively, a Master's in Journalism, Library and Information Science, or a quantitative social science.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Excellent written English and proofreading skills.
• Good attention to detail and ability to verify information.
• Comfortable working with online databases and spreadsheets.
• Experience in research, content writing, data annotation, or quality checking is preferred.
• Familiarity with AI tools is an added advantage.
