About the Role
New Grad RN and Extern Programs Available in Behavioral Health! Hiring for all units - Adult, Geriatric, and Adolescent - at Leonard Morse Hospital in Natick, MA.
Key Responsibilities
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide safe and competent patient care.
- Assume responsibility for assessing, planning, and implementing direct nursing care to assigned patients.
- Assume responsibility for the supervision of staff to which nursing care is appropriately delegated.
- Focus on mental health safety, stability, and empowerment.
- Assist individuals in building healthy coping strategies, strength, positive thought processes, and problem-solving skills.
- Participate in specialized certification in de-escalation Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) Training.
- Collaborate with Psychiatry, Medical NPs, RNs, Social Workers, Mental Health Counselors, and Human Rights Officers.
- Participate in a comprehensive 12-month New Graduate RN program focused on creating a solid foundation.
- Develop delegation and priority setting skills.
- Provide holistic patient care through interdisciplinary communication.
- Establish valuable professional relationships.
- Experience different shifts, patient populations, and unit cultures.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Graduated from a state-approved school of nursing or an accredited school, or currently enrolled in nursing school with a graduation date within the next 12 months.
- Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice the profession as required by law, regulation in the state of practice, or policy.
- CPR certification.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- Behavioral Health experience is a focus for this role.
- Candidates must successfully complete a background check and pre-employment health screening which includes a drug screen.
- Tenet complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce.
Externships are available for those not yet graduated to build skills and gain hands-on experience.
