Operations Representative

About the Role

The Operations Representative is a full-time remote role responsible for coordinating and supporting day-to-day logistics and supply chain activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support day-to-day logistics and supply chain activities.
• Manage shipment bookings.
• Track and trace cargo.
• Ensure accurate documentation for domestic and international movements.
• Interface with customers, carriers, and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Provide shipment status updates.
• Maintain high service standards.
• Assist with billing and basic financial checks.
• Maintain data integrity in operational systems.
• Support continuous process improvements.
• Work closely with colleagues across terminals and partner organizations to help deliver reliable, efficient, and compliant logistics services.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency with standard office software.
• Ability to learn logistics/operations systems quickly.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills to interpret shipment data, identify issues, and support operational decision-making.
• Excellent communication skills for clear, professional interaction with customers, carriers, and internal teams.
• Proven customer service abilities, including responsiveness, problem-solving, and relationship-building in a service-driven environment.
• Basic understanding of sales and account support, with the ability to identify service opportunities and collaborate with commercial teams.
• Foundational finance skills for reviewing invoices, supporting billing accuracy, and handling routine transactional queries.
• Relevant experience in logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain operations, or a similar field is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a remote work environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Post-secondary education in business, logistics, or a related discipline is an advantage.
