Junior Software Engineer

About the Role

Cedric is seeking a junior developer to build useful software, work closely with the CTO, and take on responsibility early.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and improve product features across the frontend and backend.
• Connect Cedric with tools such as Slack, email, calendars, and project management apps.
• Help turn chat requests into reliable actions, with clear user approvals.
• Improve onboarding so users get value without needing a guided tour.
• Debug issues, review feedback, and ship improvements.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Familiarity with JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Familiarity with a frontend framework such as React.
• Familiarity with APIs.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of development experience. Personal projects and internships count.
• An ability to break down problems, ask useful questions, and finish what you start.
• Clear English and comfort working with a remote team.
• Interest in AI products and how people actually use them.
• You need to understand the code you ship, even when AI helped write it.
