Radio Frequency Engineer

Role: Radio Frequency (RF) Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize RF circuits and systems for secure communication and networking applications.
• Perform RF and circuit design.
• Conduct simulations.
• Prepare schematics.
• Collaborate with hardware and software teams to ensure system performance and compliance with standards.
• Test, characterize, and troubleshoot RF components and subsystems using network analyzers and spectrum analyzers.
• Document results.
• Implement design improvements.
• Support validation, qualification, and production teams.
• Contribute to continuous enhancement of product reliability and efficiency.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• RF Design skills.
• RF Circuits skills, including experience with RF front-end design, impedance matching, and filter design.
• Circuit Design skills, including schematic capture, PCB layout collaboration, and understanding of analog and mixed-signal design principles.
• Hands-on experience with Network Analyzer and Spectrum Analyzer tools for RF measurement, characterization, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with RF simulation tools (e.g., ADS, HFSS, or similar).
• Basic familiarity with CAD/EDA environments.
• Solid understanding of RF propagation, transmission lines, EMC/EMI considerations, and relevant industry standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret test data and propose design optimizations.
• Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly.
• Ability to work effectively in an on-site engineering environment.
• Experience in network security hardware or telecommunications equipment is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
