About the Role

VARNAM is a design-focused organization committed to delivering precise, high-quality solutions for clients across diverse industries. This is a full-time Cad Designer role based in Hyderabad with a hybrid work arrangement.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and update detailed technical and construction drawings using CAD software.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Interpret design briefs.
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams.
• Prepare layouts and 2D/3D models.
• Revise drawings based on feedback.
• Maintain organized drawing files.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders to resolve design issues.
• Support the documentation needed for manufacturing, construction, or implementation.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency with relevant CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
• Understanding of industry standards.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Design Engineering.
• Strong skills in Technical Drawing and Construction Drawings.
• Strong skills in Drawing and visual representation of design concepts.
• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and specifications with high attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong time management skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in cross-functional teams.
• Prior experience in a CAD or design role, especially in construction, manufacturing, or product design, is an advantage.
