Research Analyst

About the Role

We are looking for Research Analysts to verify AI-generated information, research topics across various subjects, and help ensure AI systems are grounded in truth. This is a fully remote, flexible contract role.

Key Responsibilities

• Research topics online and verify claims made in AI-generated content against reliable, authoritative sources.
• Cross-reference AI outputs with credible references to confirm accuracy or identify errors.
• Flag inaccuracies, outdated information, and unsupported statements with clear documentation.
• Cover a diverse range of subjects, including science, history, culture, technology, and current events.
• Submit structured findings using provided evaluation tools and formats.
• Complete task-based assignments independently on your own schedule.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong research skills: ability to find credible sources and evaluate their reliability.
• Detail-oriented and naturally skeptical.
• Clear and concise written communication for documenting findings.
• Self-motivated and consistent when working independently without supervision.
• Comfortable navigating a wide variety of topics with intellectual curiosity.

Qualifications

No specific academic background or prior AI experience is required.

No prior AI, journalism, or professional research experience is required.

Nice to Have

• Background in research, academia, journalism, library science, or communications.
• Experience with fact-checking, data verification, or investigative work.
• Broad general knowledge spanning multiple subject areas.
• Familiarity with AI tools or content evaluation platforms as an end user.
