AI Filmmaker
Hirazo
About the Role
The AI Filmmaker will create AI videos that appear to be filmed by a real crew and build the systems that allow entire teams to achieve this quality at scale. The role involves making AI-generated videos indistinguishable from traditionally filmed content and then developing repeatable pipelines for clients to produce high-quality videos without direct supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with clients to understand their needs (e.g., brand ad formats, training narration styles, episodic drama) and create initial video pieces.
- Develop methods into repeatable skills and pipelines for clients.
- Walk into client conversations, extract their requirements, and create production specifications.
- Build the first version of creative solutions, prove their efficacy, and scale them to produce hundreds of videos without quality degradation.
- Transform one-off projects into pipelines, including briefs, references, key frames, shots, and final videos.
- Maintain visual consistency across scenes, ensuring continuity in characters, environments, and cinematic language, even in long sequences.
- Direct AI models using prompts, references, and workflows to consistently deliver production-ready shots.
- Build workflows that clients can run unattended, pause, and resume without losing progress.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Experience building real systems that people use, beyond experimenting with AI.
- Ability to articulate the reasoning behind creative choices, such as lens selection or camera movements.
- Comfortable in client-facing situations, including running discovery sessions, translating briefs, presenting work, and incorporating feedback.
- Proficiency in documenting processes, including schemas, steps, and gates.
- Experience overcoming challenges with generative video, such as drift, geometric anomalies, and continuity errors.
- Ability to comprehend and manage a system without necessarily being a software engineer.
Qualifications (Nice to Have)
- Experience in directing, cinematography, editing, or AD/Brand production.
- Background in client-facing roles or solutions engineering.
- Familiarity with structured data and schemas.
Application
To apply, submit at least one of the following:
- A showreel demonstrating consistency across shots.
- A workflow/pipeline that you have built and executed.
Note: A showreel or sample workflow is the initial filter for this application. A single hero clip is not sufficient; consistency across shots is required.
