CRE Debt Originations Associate

About the Role

An opportunity is available to join a leading commercial real estate advisory platform in Miami, Florida, focusing on debt origination and capital markets advisory. The role offers exposure to a broad range of commercial real estate financing transactions, working with property owners, investors, developers, and institutional clients to structure and execute financing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and originate commercial real estate debt financing opportunities across multiple property types.
• Analyze financing requests, loan structures, borrower financials, property performance, and investment fundamentals.
• Prepare financial models, underwriting analyses, debt sizing, and financing proposals.
• Advise clients on debt strategies, including acquisition financing, refinancing, bridge loans, and other structured debt solutions.
• Build and maintain relationships with borrowers, lenders, investors, and other industry participants.
• Coordinate due diligence, lender negotiations, term sheet reviews, and transaction execution.
• Monitor market conditions, interest rates, lender appetite, and capital markets trends to identify financing opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in commercial real estate debt, debt capital markets, loan origination, investment banking, or real estate finance.
• Strong financial modeling, underwriting, and analytical skills.
• Understanding of commercial real estate financing structures and capital markets.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions and work effectively in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
