About the Role
Federated Insurance is seeking a full-time claims intern for a paid internship at their North Richland Hills, TX office. The internship will last approximately 10 weeks during the summer of 2027, with the initial 2 weeks of training held at their Home Office in Owatonna, MN.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Claims personnel in Auto, Liability, Property, and Workers' Compensation offices with telephone coverage and correspondence.
- Facilitate client interactions regarding claim processing.
- Collaborate with and inform supervisor and teammates of progress and issues on assigned work.
- Assist clients by working alongside other interns and recent college graduates.
- Participate in office and team meetings and trainings.
- Complete a presentation outlining the internship experience to P&C Claims leadership at the conclusion of the internship.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Current Junior academic standing.
- Pursuit of a Business or Criminal Justice Bachelor degree.
- Minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
- Strong computer knowledge.
- Ability to use Microsoft Excel or equivalent spreadsheet software.
