About the Role
A well-established non-profit organization in Lancaster City is seeking a Part-Time Strategic Growth & Engagement Associate. This role supports families by fostering connection, support, and empowerment throughout their care journey. It is a mission-driven opportunity for individuals who enjoy relationship building, program creation, and community representation. Key Responsibilities
- Design, launch, and continuously improve patient/family support and education programming
- Build trusted relationships with families to increase participation and repeat engagement
- Plan, promote, and evaluate events, tracking attendance and outcomes
- Gather feedback and translate it into stronger, more effective experiences
- Develop community partnerships with providers, schools, and local organizations
- Represent the organization at community events to drive awareness and connection
- Serve as a welcoming liaison between families, guests, and the community
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Community engagement and/or nonprofit environments experience
- Strong communication, organization, and follow-through skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or strong experience in public health, social work, healthcare, or a related area
- Preferred: program development and/or nonprofit development experience
- Preferred: MSW/MPH (or similar)
Job Details
- Job Type: Direct hire (permanent)
- Pay Rate: $20-$24/hr.
- Hours / Schedule: Part-time; 20 hrs./week. Some evenings/weekends will be required.
- Location: On-site (Lancaster City, PA)
