About the Role

The Buyer role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad Area.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing end-to-end procurement activities, including sourcing vendors, requesting and evaluating quotations, negotiating pricing and terms, and issuing purchase orders.
• Maintaining accurate purchasing records.
• Tracking order status.
• Coordinating with internal teams to understand material and service requirements.
• Ensuring timely delivery to support ongoing projects.
• Collaborating with finance and operations to manage budgets, monitor inventory levels, and optimize cost without compromising quality.
• Vendor performance evaluation.
• Compliance with company policies.
• Continuous improvement of procurement processes.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in using ERP or procurement software, spreadsheets, and basic data analysis tools for tracking and reporting.

Qualifications

• Strong procurement and purchasing skills, including vendor sourcing, quotation analysis, and purchase order management.
• Experience in negotiation, contract terms review, and cost optimization while maintaining quality and service levels.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in operations, finance, and project delivery to align purchasing with business needs.
• Solid organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build and maintain professional vendor relationships.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or a related field.
• Prior buying or procurement experience in technology, IT services, or related industries is preferred.
• Relevant certifications in procurement or supply chain are an advantage.
