Navadrishti LLP is a technology and consulting company focused on education, behavioral change, and digital innovation. We are developing GRAM, a social-impact technology platform to foster collaboration and initiatives among NGOs, companies, and individuals. We seek a motivated Software Development Engineer Intern to join our founding technology team.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve existing web application features based on client requirements and feedback.
• Implement new features and enhancements as product requirements evolve.
• Work with React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, and Express.js.
• Modify and extend existing REST APIs, database schemas, and backend logic.
• Fix bugs, troubleshoot issues, and improve application performance.
• Customize existing modules and workflows for specific client needs.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services.
• Test changes to ensure new updates do not break existing functionality.
• Collaborate with the founding team to understand requirements, estimate tasks, and deliver updates.
• Use Git and GitHub for version control and collaborative development.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Good understanding of JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Familiarity with React.js and component-based development.
• Understanding of REST APIs, HTTP, and JSON.
• Basic knowledge of databases and SQL.
• Familiarity with Git and GitHub.
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
• Ability to take ownership of tasks and communicate progress effectively.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Next.js, Node.js, and Express.js.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Supabase.
• Knowledge of authentication, API integration, and application security.
• Experience deploying web applications.
• Personal projects, GitHub repositories, or open-source contributions.

Candidates do not need to know every technology listed. Strong fundamentals, practical projects, learning ability, and a genuine interest in building products are valued.

Compensation and Long-Term Opportunity

This is an early-stage founding-team internship. The role may initially be unpaid. Monetary compensation may be provided based on work undertaken, project scope, contributions, and available budget. Compensation arrangements will be discussed and agreed upon before work begins. Interns demonstrating consistent contribution, accountability, technical growth, and long-term commitment may be considered for continued engagement and formal confirmation into the founding technology team. Confirmed team members may be eligible for additional benefits and growth opportunities, subject to performance, business requirements, and mutually agreed terms.
