About the Role
MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Junior Procurement Analyst to join our team in Halawa, HI. This role involves supporting procurement services, coordinating activities, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the coordination of procurement services by assisting with document preparation and tracking the status of open purchase orders.
- Monitor the delivery status of materials and ensure accurate maintenance of records within organizational databases.
- Assist in preparing procurement schedules and ensure necessary materials and data are available for senior analysts.
- Draft technical records for procurement tasks and assist in the coordination of activities across theater locations.
- Maintain foundational knowledge of special operations requirements and assist in preparing documentation for program deliverables.
- Monitor regional vendor conditions and assist senior expeditors in identifying routine supply and service needs.
- Take direction, guidance, and mentoring from more senior staff.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Demonstrated ability to follow established procurement SOPs.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate technical records.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel for tracking procurement metrics.
- Familiarity with basic logistics and supply chain systems.
- Foundational knowledge of FAR/DFARS regulations or a related field.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Zero to two years of experience.
Clearance Requirements
- Must have a current/active Secret security clearance.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
- Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
