About the Role

Seeking a highly motivated, attentive, and self-driven candidate to join the Biologics Pre-Pivotal Formulation and Process Development team. Contribute to the development of formulation and drug product processes for innovative molecules to support toxicology and early clinical stage studies.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute experiments to support formulation and drug product process development work packages, including molecular assessment, First-in-Human formulation development, Drug Product manufacturing process development, and clinical in-use evaluations.
• With general guidance, select and operate scientific equipment and tools such as HPLCs, UV-Vis, CE-SDS, ICIEF, etc.
• Clearly, timely, and accurately document data in repositories like lab notebooks, reports, and protocols.
• Analyze, interpret, draw conclusions, and present data from experiments, including preparing reports and memos.
• Embrace a lean-agile mindset, matrix working environment, and continuous improvement.
• Support key project or department stakeholders to ensure company objectives are met.
• Use established data, reports, and previous results to identify inappropriate variances and concerns, and report inconsistent results to a manager or supervisor.
• Participate in group meetings by presenting data or preparing information for others to present.
• Support team initiatives for business process excellence, scientific innovation, laboratory, and work safety.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Experience operating scientific equipment such as HPLCs, UV-Vis, CE-SDS, ICIEF.
• Ability to document data in lab notebooks, reports, and protocols.
• Ability to analyze, interpret, and present experimental data.
• Familiarity with identifying variances and concerns in data.

Qualifications

• M.S. in Pharmaceutical Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related scientific fields with 0+ years of experience, OR
• B.S. with 2+ years of industrial experience in biologics CMC development.
• Hands-on experience working with biologic products is strongly preferred.
• Strong desire and ability to learn new skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively.
• Organized and strong ability to work independently in multiple complex workflows.
