Interior Purchase Material Executive

About the Role

• Full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai.
• Responsible for managing end-to-end material procurement for interior projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue purchase orders.
• Source vendors.
• Negotiate prices.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites.
• Track inventory levels.
• Coordinate with project managers and site engineers to forecast material requirements.
• Support production planning to avoid delays and material shortages.
• Maintain accurate purchase and material records.
• Verify quality and specifications of received materials.
• Resolve discrepancies with suppliers.
• Communicate with internal teams and vendors to ensure materials align with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong skills in Purchase Orders and Materials Management.
• Solid Analytical Skills and Production Planning capabilities.
• Effective Communication skills.
• Relevant experience in interior contracting, construction, or fit-out industry, particularly in material sourcing and vendor management.
• Good knowledge of building and interior materials (e.g., carpentry, gypsum, electrical, plumbing, finishes) and their specifications.
• Proficiency with MS Office and basic ERP or procurement software.
• Ability to work on-site, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet strict timelines and budget constraints.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Materials Management, Civil/Interior Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
