Sales Associate, Hard Rock Store

Key Responsibilities

• Market Retail merchandise to Guests.
• Stock and re-stock the Retail area to ensure adequate inventory.
• Perform cash and/or credit sales transactions with Guests.
• Maintain current knowledge of rules, regulations, policies, and procedures, including precheck and cashiering procedures.
• Ensure Guest satisfaction through effective communication, customer assistance, direction, and information provided within company policies and guidelines.
• Promote positive public/employee relations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within the area of responsibility.
• Perform all other related and compatible duties as assigned.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Cashiering/money handling experience in making accurate change in a fast-paced environment or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• Ability to maintain visual attention and mental concentration for significant periods.
• Order-entry skills.
• Ability to become proficient to operate computer systems utilized and 10-key adding machines.
• Windows based software proficiency preferred.
• Extensive cashiering experience preferred.
• Exceptional guest service skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and other team members.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Native American Preference Policy: First preference is given to members of the Seminole Tribe, second preference to members of other federally recognized Native American Tribes who meet the job requirements.
• Must obtain gaming licensure by successfully completing a background check (including credit check, criminal background check, and drug screen) prior to employment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell.
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• Ability to work standing/walking for long periods of time.
