Alteryx Developer

About the Role

• This is a full-time Alteryx Developer role.
• Location: Bengaluru.
• Work Model: Hybrid.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Alteryx workflows for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Support reporting, dashboards, and advanced analytics initiatives.
• Gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Optimize workflows for performance.
• Ensure data quality and governance.
• Partner with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to validate outputs, troubleshoot issues, and enhance existing processes.
• Document solutions.
• Follow best practices.
• Contribute to automation and standardization initiatives.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Alteryx Designer and Server (or similar ETL/ELT tools).
• SQL.
• Relational databases.
• Basic BI/reporting tools (highly beneficial).

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
• Experience in Back-End Web Development and Software Development, with exposure to APIs, integrations, and data pipelines.
• Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
• Hands-on experience with workflow optimization and error handling.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Ability to produce clear documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to data accuracy and performance.
• Comfort working in a hybrid environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Effective communication skills.
