Job Title: Weekend Caregiver
About the Role
Visiting Angels of Lowell is hiring a Weekend Caregiver for clients throughout the local area, including Fayetteville, Lowell, and Springdale. This role offers flexibility, room for growth, and the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of senior adults.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting clients with personal care and hygiene
- Managing light housekeeping
- Encouraging clients to meet exercise and fitness goals
- Prompting clients to take prescription medications
- Assisting with shopping and putting away groceries
- Planning and preparing meals in collaboration with clients
- Assisting clients with mobility and ambulation
- Reporting health changes or unusual circumstances
- Acting quickly in case of medical emergencies
Requirements & Tech Stack
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent time-management skills
- Reliable transportation to client visits
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with basic housekeeping and cooking tasks
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
- Training/knowledge in First Aid and emergency response
- Willingness to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards
