About the Role
This role is at the front line of revenue generation, identifying and qualifying companies that need modern data infrastructure, and creating pipeline for enterprise account executives through targeted outbound and inbound follow-up. This is a quota-carrying role in a metrics-driven SaaS environment. Performance is the primary path to account executive promotion, with structured onboarding, weekly coaching, and a clear career ladder.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute high-volume outbound prospecting via cold calls, email, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator into a defined territory of mid-market and enterprise accounts.
- Qualify inbound demo requests and event leads against ICP criteria (company size, tech stack, data maturity) before routing to account executives.
- Research target accounts using tools like Apollo, ZoomInfo, and Gong to personalize outreach to data engineering, analytics, and IT decision-makers.
- Book 15-20 qualified meetings per month and consistently hit weekly activity, connect, and SQL targets.
- Maintain accurate CRM hygiene in Salesforce: logging activity, dispositions, and next steps in real time.
- Partner with marketing to test messaging, sequences, and vertical positioning; share field intelligence that shapes campaigns.
- Hit or exceed monthly and quarterly pipeline-generation quotas from week one of ramp.

- Strong interest in tech/SaaS sales careers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication — able to run a sharp discovery call and write emails that get replies.
- Coachable and resilient: takes feedback, iterates on scripts, and stays motivated through rejection-heavy work.
- Comfortable with sales tech stacks (Salesforce, Outreach, Sales Navigator, or similar).
- Demonstrated drive through sports, internships, campus leadership, or prior work experience.
- Bonus: familiarity with data, cloud, or API-adjacent concepts (ETL, warehouses, integrations); prior startup or quota-carrying internship experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
