Vac Sales and Service Rep

About the Role

Safety-Kleen in Billings, MT is seeking a Class B Vacuum Truck Route Driver (Vacuum Sales and Service Representative). This role involves managing a route and operating a Vacuum Truck to pick up industrial waste from customers and transport it to disposal sites.

Compensation

• Class B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements: $27 + commission
• Class B CDL with no endorsements (Clean Harbors will sponsor you to obtain your endorsements): $26 + commission
• $5K sign on bonus

Travel

• 50% travel
• 1-2 nights in a hotel per trip
• Territory: All of Montana, parts of Wyoming

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes.
• Manual labor on sites to completely fulfill customer needs.
• Complete daily scheduled services, deliveries, and pickups in a timely manner.
• Complete all required documentation and labeling.
• Generate/collect leads from customers for new products and services.
• Sell additional products and services into existing accounts.
• Actively prospect for new accounts in assigned route.
• Primary account ownership in assigned route.
• Ensure customer satisfaction at time of service.
• Follow all local, state, and federal compliance regulations and rules.
• Safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT, local, state, and federal requirements.
• Observe all corporate operating guidelines and procedures.
• Observe all company environmental health and safety operating guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Valid Class B CDL
• Ability to use various mobile devices
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to perform physical functions per job requirements.
• Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical.

Qualifications

• Commercial driver experience (Preferred)
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsement (Preferred)
• Previous Hazmat experience (Preferred)
• Previous route driving experience (Preferred)
• Ability to operate a manual transmission (Preferred)
• Business to business sales experience (Preferred)
• Strong customer service background (Preferred)
• Must obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days of employment.
• Employees in positions requiring respirators are required to meet facial hair standards.
