About the Role

We are seeking a motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented Entry-Level IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance to users in a remote work environment. This position is ideal for individuals looking to begin or develop their careers in information technology. The successful candidate will assist with basic technical issues, troubleshoot hardware and software problems, respond to support requests, and help maintain efficient day-to-day IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support to users via email, chat, or other designated communication channels.
• Troubleshoot basic hardware, software, connectivity, and login issues.
• Assist with computer setup, software installation, and system configuration.
• Respond to IT support requests and document reported issues.
• Escalate complex technical problems to the appropriate team members.
• Assist users with account access, password resets, and basic system navigation.
• Maintain accurate records of support tickets, resolutions, and follow-up actions.
• Follow established IT procedures, security guidelines, and data protection policies.
• Collaborate with team members to improve support processes and user experience.
• Participate in training and professional development activities as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of computers, operating systems, software applications, and internet connectivity.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good problem-solving, organizational, and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks in a remote environment.
