About the Role
- One-year non-ACGME clinical fellowship in Advanced Coronary and Minimally Invasive Robotic Cardiac Surgery.
- For individuals who have completed a cardiothoracic training program by June 2025.
- Program directed by Dr. Nirav Patel.
- Fellowship available to individuals who have successfully completed an ACGME accredited Thoracic Surgery program or equivalent.
- Fellowship requires eligibility for medical licensure in the State of New York by July 2025.
- Must have completed USMLE STEP 1 and STEP 2 as well as be ECFMG certified.
- Clinical research responsibilities included.
Key Responsibilities
- Exposure to and responsibility for all aspects of advanced coronary and minimally invasive robotic cardiac surgery:
- Pre-operative evaluation and planning
- Operative technique
- Post-operative care
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Completion of a cardiothoracic training program by June 2025.
- Completion of an ACGME accredited Thoracic Surgery program or equivalent.
- Eligibility for medical licensure in the State of New York by July 2025.
