Warehouse Associate

About the Role

KBS is seeking motivated and dynamic Warehouse Associates (Corrugated Recyclers) to join their team for permanent, full-time positions. These roles are primarily responsible for meeting customer needs and exceeding expectations in the collection and removal of corrugated cardboard gondolas within all facilities.

Work Schedule

• Days and nights vary, including weekends.
• Available Shifts: 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 6:00 PM - 5:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Use a manual pallet jack to pick up full gondolas (large cardboard bins/containers) and replace them with empty gondolas within assigned areas.
• Transport and place full corrugated cardboard gondolas to the baler or compactors located in a designated area in the warehouse.
• Ensure areas around all gondolas are free of debris and trash.
• Dust mop, mop, and sweep around trash container areas to keep transit areas free of trash and debris.
• Maintain traffic areas ("Green Mile walking paths") free of debris at all times to ensure everyone's safety.
• Maintain and sort auger/baler/compactor areas to keep them orderly.
• Other cleaning duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Manual pallet jack usage for lifting and moving gondolas up to 75+ pounds.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and transport items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Regularly bend, lift, stretch, and reach for objects both below the waist and overhead.
• Capable of consistently pushing and pulling loaded manual pallet jacks with trash/cardboard.
• Frequent walking within and around facilities throughout the shift.
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 10-12 hours.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manual, and safety data sheets/chemical handling documents.
• Background check and drug test required.
• KBSPresence mobile timekeeping software must be used for clocking in/out of shifts and breaks on personal mobile devices. Reimbursement for cell phone usage is provided.
