Warehouse Janitorial Associate

About the Role

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) is seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our team as full-time, permanent Warehouse Janitorial Associates / Cleaning Crew Members. This role is ideal for those who enjoy a fast-paced environment and contributing to workplace safety.

Work Schedule

• Days/nights vary, including weekends
• Shifts Available:
• 5pm - 4am (Wednesday to Saturday or Sunday - Wednesday)
• 7pm - 6am (Wednesday to Saturday or Sunday - Wednesday)

Starting Pay

• $16 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning restrooms, break areas (indoor/outdoor), and office areas.
• Sweeping, mopping, dusting, and removing trash.
• Ensuring all walkways are clean and tidy at all times.
• Cleaning totes and other items.
• Performing deep cleaning tasks as needed.
• Following all safety and quality standards.
• Completing other basic janitorial duties as assigned.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Ability to lift and move totes up to 49 pounds.
• Walking in and around the facility with great frequency throughout the entire shift.
• Must be able to stand and walk for up to 10-12 hours.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and safe handling for chemicals sheets/documents (generally in English; may be in Spanish where state required).
• Dexterity in eye/hand coordination, feet (foot pedals), manual (picking, pinching, holding, grasping), and wrist motion (repetitive flexion/rotation).
• KBSPresence mobile timekeeping software: All non-exempt employees are required to download and use this app on their personal mobile devices to clock in and out for shifts and breaks. Cell phone reimbursement is provided.
