About the Role
Love's Travel Stops is hiring immediately for a Part Time Retail Cashier. In this fast-paced role, you will provide fast, friendly, and accurate services for customers, maintain clean areas, and have a friendly demeanor. Flexibility and teamwork are important as duties may vary. No experience is necessary; training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general customer service duties, including assisting customers, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
- Balance a cash register by completing customer transactions and identifying additional sales opportunities, adhering to all state and local laws.
- Utilize various methods and technology to ensure proper food safety for fresh food and deli products.
- Maintain cleanliness of your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and complete trash runs.
- Potentially cross-train in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
- Ability to move and lift 25+ pounds.
- Ability to work in various temperatures.
