About the Role
Junior Financial Analyst - Cost Accounting Solutions in Chennai.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform all cost accounting activities that are defined.
- Understand the corporate policy and follow-up of key cost accounting metrics.
- Implement time-saving/cost-reducing initiatives through pocket kaizens & process improvements.
- Work along with the operations team & track reasons for metric non-conformances through regular follow-ups.
- Posting month-end journal entries related to accruals and reclass in ERP.
- Prepare & maintain SOP in line with the latest process and document them in DMS.
- To learn & serve as a backup for cost accountant.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Basic level knowledge in MS applications.
- MS office good knowledge.
- Understand & interpret accounting policies.
Qualifications
- B.com/BBA (Finance)/M.com/MBA (Finance).
- 0-2 years of experience in a relevant field.
- Good knowledge in accounting principles.
- Excellent oral & written communication skills in English.
- Good team player with analytical skills.
- Willingness to learn & deploy the skills learned in day-to-day processes.
