About the Role
Kāli India is an Indian-origin luxury house creating sculptural handbags and accessories rooted in India’s rich artistic heritage. We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented Handbag Designer & Graphic Designer to join our team and contribute to both product development and brand communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Design handbag silhouettes, develop concepts, and create technical drawings, patterns, and tech packs.
- Research and source materials, leather, hardware, and trims for new collections.
- Coordinate with artisans, vendors, and the production team on sampling and product development.
- Create graphics and visual assets for social media, website, campaigns, lookbooks, and marketing collateral, ensuring visual consistency across all brand touchpoints.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; InDesign and Procreate are a plus.
Qualifications
- Formal training in Accessories Design, Fashion Design, Textile Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Understanding of handbag construction, patternmaking, and materials.
- A strong visual eye, attention to detail, and an interest in luxury, craftsmanship, and contemporary design.
- Someone proactive, organised, and comfortable working in a growing luxury brand.
Salary: ₹20,000–₹25,000 per month, depending on experience and skill set.
