Role: Procurement Practice New Associate
About the Role
You will be aligned with Accenture's Procurement vertical, assisting in the process of finding and agreeing to terms, and acquiring goods, services, or works from an external source. Procurement ensures the buyer receives goods, services, or works at the best possible price considering quality, quantity, time, and location. You will work as part of a Procurement management team that uses a systematic approach for acquiring all necessary goods and services to sustain a company.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the identification of need.
- Assist in finding and qualifying suppliers.
- Assist in requesting proposals.
- Assist in negotiating with suppliers.
- Assist in contracting.
- Assist in delivery.
- Assist in analyzing results.
- Assist in contract close.
- Solve routine problems largely through precedent and referral to general guidelines.
- Work within a team with a predetermined, narrow scope of work.
- Receive detailed instructions on all tasks.
- Make decisions impacting your own work under close supervision.
