Job Description
Batangarh is seeking enthusiastic Freelance News Reporters for ground-level reporting on local civic issues, public grievances, everyday challenges, and citizen opinions. The role focuses on capturing street-level interactions and public voices.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and cover local public problems.
- Conduct on-the-spot interviews with citizens in streets, markets, colonies, and public spaces.
- Record opinions, experiences, and suggestions.
- Produce engaging video reports of minimum 8–10 minutes length with 7-8 public bytes.
- Deliver clear audio/video, obtain verbal consent where needed, maintain balance and factual accuracy.
- Reporting must be done in Hindi Language only.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Smartphone (or basic camera) with good recording quality.
- Confidence to approach and interview strangers respectfully.
- Good communication skills.
Qualifications
- Graduation (Pursuing) in Mass Communication.
- Passion for authentic, unbiased storytelling – no prior experience needed.
