About the Role
The Chernoff Newman internship program aims to offer a well-rounded experience that includes a deep dive of agency life. Interns are immersed in client and agency business work. The program offers three internships each year in the fall, spring, and summer semesters, aligning with the applicant’s school schedule. The selected candidate will work in-person in the Columbia office.
Key Responsibilities
- Working alongside the full client engagement team
- Assisting with client and internal meeting prep and minutes
- Preparing client-facing documents and research
- Assisting in monitoring and reporting on various accounts and campaigns
- Coordinate and manage tasks as assigned by the client engagement team
Qualifications
- A team player with a positive, get-it-done attitude
- A self-starter with the ability to assess tasks and prioritize
- A creative problem solver with acute attention to detail
- A people-person with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Desire to learn and grow professionally at a leading communications firm
- Current enrollment in a related BS or BA

- Location: Columbia, S.C.
- Hours: 15-20 hours per week
- Compensation: $12/hour
