Forward Deployed Software Engineer, Internship

About the Role

Forward Deployed Software Engineers (FDSEs) work directly with customers to understand their problems and design and implement solutions using data. As an FDSE Intern, you will:

• Work in small teams with minimal supervision.
• Own end-to-end execution of high-stakes projects.
• Discuss architecture with fellow engineers.
• Wrangle massive-scale data.
• Code custom web applications.
• Speak with customer executives.
• Establish strategy for your team.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency with one or more programming languages, such as Python, Java, C++, TypeScript/JavaScript, or similar.

Qualifications

• Engineering background, preferred in fields such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, and Data Science.
• Willingness to undergo a US government background investigation, depending on US government project requirements.
• Must be planning on graduating in 2027. This should be your final internship before graduating.
