Junior Consultant (NAPS)

About the Role

As a Junior Consultant at Red Hat, you will be a technical professional supporting the on-site delivery, implementation, and adoption of Red Hat technology. These projects involve building enterprise IT solutions based on Red Hat platforms across various industries.

What You Will Do

As part of the FASTER Program (Field Accelerator for Sales and Technical Emerging Roles), a comprehensive 10-month onboarding and development program, you will:

• Discover Red Hat and how it supports customers with technical, developmental, and strategic business challenges.
• Build a strong support network with peers, managers, mentors, and other Red Hat associates.
• Develop technical skills in the Red Hat portfolio across Cloud, Automation, and AI through training and certifications.
• Apply technical skills in customer projects, experiences, and job shadowing.
• Shadow and assist experienced members of the Services Delivery team with Red Hat technology delivery, implementation, and adoption.
• Enhance professional capabilities through real-world customer experiences and skill development opportunities.
• Gain an understanding of processes and tools for enterprise-level solution architecture.
• Focus on personal and professional development for career growth at Red Hat.
• Support the Sales organization in delivering customer business value by building enterprise IT solutions on Red Hat platforms.

What You Will Bring

• Passion and curiosity for open source technology and a desire to build a career in the Tech industry.
• Expertise in emerging technologies.
• Strong technical skills in computer science, IT, AI, or related fields, acquired through university, boot camps, certificate programs, or military experience.
• Demonstrated experience applying technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills in an Enterprise IT-related project.
• Motivation for self-directed learning on new technologies.
• Experience with any of Red Hat products (e.g., Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Red Hat OpenShift, Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, Red Hat AI platform) and/or related Open Source technologies (e.g., Fedora, Podman, Ansible) is preferred.
• Exposure to scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) or programming languages (e.g., Java, Go) is a plus.
• A customer-focused approach, understanding customer needs and helping them achieve their goals.
• Willingness to travel regularly to customer sites and local Red Hat offices.
• Effective communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal teams and external customers.
• Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
• For NAPS: Secret clearance or above required.
