Junior Accountant

About the Role

• Junior Accountant position located in Rockford, IL (100% Onsite).
• Full-Time employment.
• Salary: $52,000–$54,000 annually.
• This is an entry-level opportunity for recent accounting graduates.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform bank reconciliations and assist with maintaining accurate financial records.
• Learn and assist with preparing and posting journal entries.
• Support the administration and reconciliation of company fuel credit card accounts.
• Assist with tracking and maintaining company fleet records, including vehicle registrations and documentation.
• Maintain organized and accurate accounting and administrative records.
• Take on additional accounting responsibilities as you gain experience and develop your skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field with relevant accounting coursework.
• 0–2 years of accounting experience; recent graduates with no experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles through college coursework.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and work collaboratively with a team.
• Comfortable working onsite in Rockford, IL, five days per week.
