Role: YouTube Content Writer (Tamil & English) – STEM Content Writer
About the Role
LMES Academy is seeking a creative YouTube Content Writer with a background in Science/Electronics. The role involves transforming complex STEM concepts into engaging, simple content for YouTube videos.
Key Responsibilities
- Research trending and evergreen STEM topics (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math).
- Write high-retention YouTube scripts that simplify complex concepts into easy, engaging storytelling.
- Convert difficult topics into simple, relatable language.
- Create compelling hooks, storytelling angles, curiosity loops, and engaging narratives.
- Collaborate with video editors and creators to improve content performance.
- Research trends, competitors, and viral content formats to improve reach and engagement.
- Write scripts for:
- YouTube Long-form videos
- Shorts/Reels
- Educational storytelling content
- Documentary/explainer-style videos
- Host and present selected videos confidently in front of the camera, delivering content naturally, clearly, and engagingly.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong writing & storytelling skills.
- Ability to simplify complex topics into simple, mass-friendly language.
- Passion for STEM, innovation, science, and future technologies.
- Understanding of YouTube psychology (hook, retention, watch time, storytelling).
- Ability to make educational content feel entertaining.
- Curiosity-driven mindset and strong research skills.
- Experience in scriptwriting, journalism, education, or content creation is a plus.
- Comfortable speaking and presenting confidently in front of the camera.
