About the Role
Embroidery Inc is a custom embroidery shop in West Sacramento that sells hats and apparel nationwide. We need someone to run and grow our Instagram account (@embroideryinchq). This role offers a real say in how we grow and includes filming, editing, and engaging with our audience.
Key Responsibilities
- Film content in the shop: embroidery machines, test-hat proofs, orders, and potentially appearing on camera.
- Edit short videos for Reels (and potentially TikTok or YouTube Shorts).
- Plan and post Reels, Stories, and feed posts on a regular schedule.
- Reply to comments and DMs, and engage with customers and other accounts.
- Monitor Instagram Insights and report on what's working.
- Assist in selecting posts for advertising.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere, Final Cut or similar) strongly preferred.
- A good understanding of online communication.
- Ability to travel to our facility in West Sacramento 1-2 days a week.
- Reliable and comfortable working independently.
Qualifications
- No professional experience required.
- Experience growing an account, creating engaging videos, or running a page for a club is valued.
- Ability to understand what makes content engaging and stop scrolling.
- Video editing ability is paramount.
Nice to have:
- Photography skills.
- Proficiency with Canva or other design tools.
- Experience growing a personal social media page.
