About the Role

Samatha Learning Center is an inclusive educational organization supporting learners with diverse needs, including individuals with disabilities. This is a full-time, on-site Special Education Teacher role based in Bengaluru South.

Key Responsibilities

• Adapting instructional materials.
• Using differentiated teaching strategies.
• Monitoring student progress.
• Maintaining accurate documentation.
• Collaborating with other educators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Supporting students’ social-emotional development.
• Managing classroom routines.
• Contributing to a safe, inclusive learning environment.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Ability to collaborate.
• Ability to maintain detailed records.
• Ability to use basic educational technology and tools.

Qualifications

• Strong Special Education teaching skills.
• Experience planning and implementing individualized instruction.
• Knowledge of disabilities and diverse learning needs.
• Strategies to support academic, behavioral, and social development.
• Effective Communication skills.
• Classroom management skills.
• Lesson planning skills.
• Student assessment skills.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or Education.
