About the Role
Moore County Hospital District (MCHD) is seeking a Medical Assistant/LVN/RN for their Family Health Clinic. The role involves providing direct patient care in a clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate with physicians, nurses, and other staff regarding patients’ clinical condition, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.
- Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient conditions and responses to treatment.
- Assist the Physician with examination and treatment of patients.
- Check patient vitals: height, weight, temperature, and blood pressure.
- Assist with patients' medical histories.
- Assist with laboratory tests.
- Apply bandages.
- Instruct patients regarding home treatment.
- Perform administrative tasks such as managing medical records, bookkeeping, and answering phones.
- Practice cost-effectiveness and avoid supply waste.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- LVN or RN license in Texas, or Medical Assistant Certification.
- Current CPR certification.
- Knowledge of the accreditation process.
Qualifications
- Six Months Nursing Experience In a Clinical Setting Preferred.
