About the Role

Lead and mentor a team of Robotics Data Collectors and Annotators, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Oversee the planning, execution, and timely delivery of data collection and annotation projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership and Team Management:
• Lead and mentor a team, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Assist the team with troubleshooting and fixing issues on Ubuntu, Python, VS Code, and other platforms.
• Project Management:
• Oversee the planning, execution, and timely delivery of data collection and annotation projects.
• Ensure project milestones and deadlines are met with high quality.
• Prepare and present regular reports on team performance, metrics, and project progress.
• Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Training and Development:
• Identify training needs and coordinate development opportunities.
• Promote best practices in prompt engineering.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements.
• Operational Excellence:
• Quality Assurance: Ensure the team consistently produces high-quality data and annotations for various Robotics actions. Implement and oversee processes for improving prompts for better model training.
• Process Optimization: Identify areas for improvement in Robotics processes and workflows. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Collaborate with Data Science, Research, and Development departments.
• Act as a liaison between the Robotics team, management, and other stakeholders.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Operating Systems: Strong understanding of Windows and Ubuntu.
• Tools: Familiarity with VS Code, Git (checkout to branch and pulling).
• Programming: Basic Python competency (reading error messages).
• Networking: Basic networking knowledge for troubleshooting device connectivity.
• Hardware: Basic hardware setup skills (mounting cameras, connecting trackers).
• Log Analysis: Ability to parse error messages and identify relevant information.

Qualifications

• Leadership Experience:
• Proven experience leading and managing teams in a technical or engineering environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, and guide team members.
• Technical Expertise:
• Experience in managing Robotics or other LLM based annotation projects is preferred.
• Communication Skills:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
