About the Role
Love's Travel Stops is seeking Cashiers to provide fast, friendly, and accurate services for customers in a fast-paced environment. The role involves maintaining clean facilities and friendly interactions. Flexibility and teamwork are important, as duties may vary based on business needs. No prior experience is necessary, as training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general customer service duties, including assisting customers with item location, answering product and service questions, and addressing customer needs.
- Balance a cash register by processing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities, adhering to all state and local laws.
- Utilize various methods and technology to ensure proper food safety for fresh food and deli products.
- Maintain cleanliness of the direct working area, sales floor, restrooms, showers, and gas/diesel pumps, and complete trash runs.
- Cross-train in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
- Ability to move and lift 25+ pounds.
- Ability to work in various temperatures.
