About the Role

As a Mathematics Teacher at VeriPark in Chennai, you will impart solid mathematical knowledge to students and foster their problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and structure daily lessons.
• Design clear learning materials.
• Adapt teaching methods for different learning levels.
• Conduct performance assessments.
• Provide constructive feedback.
• Support the individual development of learners.
• Collaborate with colleagues and potentially departments to adapt curricula to modern requirements and digital learning formats.
• This is a full-time, on-site position in Chennai, requiring regular presence and active participation in school/academic life.

Qualifications

• Professional competence in mathematics and mathematics education to convey complex content understandably and practically.
• Proven qualification as a Qualified Teacher with a completed university degree in Mathematics or Mathematics Education, and ideally relevant teaching experience.
• Experience in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development to create learning-objective-oriented, structured, and competence-based curricula.
• Additional pedagogical and social skills such as classroom management, appreciative communication, intercultural sensitivity, and enjoyment of working with learners of various ages and performance levels.
• Good IT and media literacy.
