Key Responsibilities

• Support licensed electricians with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
• Assist with wiring, conduit installation, fixture and panel work, and basic troubleshooting under supervision.
• Help with job site preparation and cleanup.
• Follow safety protocols.
• Learn to read and interpret diagrams and electrical codes.
• Work with hand and power tools.
• Support accurate documentation of work performed.
• Actively develop skills to progress in the electrical trade.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Foundational knowledge of electricity principles and safe work practices.
• Ability to assist with electrical work, including basic installations and system support.
• Skills in maintenance & repair of electrical components and equipment under supervision.
• Basic troubleshooting abilities for identifying issues in electrical systems.
• Interest in electrical engineering concepts and a willingness to learn technical details.
• Strong attention to safety, including adherence to OSHA and local electrical codes.
• Ability to use hand and power tools, read measurements, and follow technical instructions.
• Reliable transportation to job sites in and around Cape Coral, FL.
• Effective communication, teamwork, and willingness to take direction from senior electricians.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Vocational training or enrollment in an electrical apprenticeship program is a plus.
