About the Role
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be a member of a team supporting our pharmacies, pharmacists, and communities. You will create an easy, friendly, and exciting pharmacy experience for patients, making the pharmacy a great place for friends, family, and neighbors to get their prescriptions. The role offers the potential for growth through proper training and mentoring, including the opportunity to promote and provide immunizations (where allowed by law). Albertsons will provide training, including classes from the pharmacy learning and development team, pharmacy computer system training, and hands-on training.
Key Responsibilities
- Support pharmacies, pharmacists, and communities.
- Create an easy, friendly, and exciting pharmacy experience for patients.
- Make the pharmacy a great place for patients to get their prescriptions.
- Promote and provide immunizations (where allowed by law) to help keep patients safe.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Willing to obtain proper licenses (where required by local state requirements).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Pharmacy computer system knowledge is beneficial.
