About the Role
- Location: Onsite, Mebane, NC
- Reports to: Production Supervisor
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting all types of assembly work to produce semi-finished or final products/systems/panels, including packing integrated with production lines.
- Reading and interpreting technical diagrams/instructions for assembly.
- Performing work manually or using light hand tools.
- Operating machinery and equipment on the shop floor.
- Carrying out regular quality testing as part of a defined production process.
- Operating within standard operating procedures and maintaining a clean work area.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Knowledge and use of tools – tape measure, calipers, grinders, or other hand tools, as needed.
- Ability to safely use a ladder, as needed.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 40lbs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 1 year working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Candidates must have work authorization permitting them to work for ABB in the US.
